.SCENE IT? STAR TREK: THE FINAL FRONTIER CHALLENGE.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The "SCENE IT? STAR TREK: THE FINAL FRONTIER CHALLENGE" ("Sweepstakes") starts at 12:01 AM Pacific Time ("PT") on 8/1/08 and ends at 6:00 PM PT on 8/22/08 for online entry ("Online Entry Period") and on 8/22/08 for the postmarking of a mail-in entry as detailed below. The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Mattel, Inc., 333 Continental Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245 (the "Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules and by entering, all participants agree that they have read these Official Rules and to abide by and to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.

ELIGIBILITY: THE SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF DATE OF ENTRY. A PRIZE WON BY A MINOR IN HIS OR HER LEGAL JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCY WILL BE AWARDED IN THE NAME OF SAID MINOR'S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIC AREA STATED ABOVE AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MAY BE REQUIRED.

Employees of the Sponsor, West Coast Marketing, a division of The Susquehanna Hat Co. ("West Coast Marketing"), their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and related companies and agencies (collectively, the "Promotion Parties"), and their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings and spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the household of same, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: There are two (2) methods of entering the Sweepstakes; online entry and via mail-in entry as detailed below. Please note: There is a maximum of one (1) entry per day that will be accepted from any one (1) person or e-mail address for this Sweepstakes regardless of method(s) of entry.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES ONLINE: To enter online, you may enter by logging on to the Internet website at www.sceneitstartrek.com ("Entry Site") during the Online Entry Period and following the instructions for Sweepstakes entry; inputting your name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth and one (1) Star Trek trivia question and clicking the "Submit Entry" button ("Online Entry"). ALL ONLINE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 6:00 PM PT ON 8/22/08 TO BE ELIGIBLE.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES BY MAIL: To enter the Sweepstakes by mail, send a postcard, hand printed with your name, address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address (if applicable) and one (1) Star Trek trivia question to: "SCENE IT? STAR TREK: THE FINAL FRONTIER CHALLENGE", c/o West Coast Marketing, 22287 Mulholland Hwy, #396, Calabasas, CA 91302 ("Mail-in Entry"). ALL MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE MAILED SEPARATELY AND BE POSTMARKED BY 8/22/08 AND RECEIVED BY 8/27/08.

The Promotion Parties, Internet server(s), Internet provider(s), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes; inability to access any web page, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or on any web site; any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, mutilated, illegible or postage-due entries or mail or any combination thereof; or theft or destruction or corruption of entries; printing or other errors. Proof of submitting an entry is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. Illegible and incomplete entries and entries in excess of the stated number above will be disqualified. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render participants ineligible. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render participants ineligible. By registering to enter the Sweepstakes, participant affirms that they have read and accepted these Official Sweepstakes Rules. The laws of the State of California apply to and govern this Sweepstakes and any claims must be raised and resolved in the Federal or state courts located in Los Angeles County, California, United States. Any information collected by registering to enter the Sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Official Sweepstakes Rules and with the Sponsor.s online Privacy Policy, which can be found at the Entry Site

WINNER SELECTION: Fifteen (15) First Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Random drawing will be conducted on/about 8/27/08 by West Coast Marketing, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are and shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential prize winners will be notified as follows: If potential winner selected had entered via the Online Entry method, he/she will be notified on/about 8/27/08, via e-mail and telephone notification to the e-mail address and telephone number submitted at time of Online Entry. If potential winner selected had entered via the Mail-in Entry method he/she will be notified via overnight delivery service on/about 8/28/08.

Prize winners (or a Prize winner's parent or legal guardian if a Prize winner is considered a minor in the legal jurisdiction in which he or she resides) will be required to execute and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, an IRS W-9 form and where legal, a Publicity Release form within five (5) days of issuance. A pre-paid overnight delivery air bill/label will be provided to facilitate the return of all required paperwork. Failure to return all required paperwork within this stated deadline may, at Sponsor's sole discretion, result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate potential winner selected.

If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the prize may (at Sponsor's sole discretion) be awarded to an alternate winner in a subsequent random drawing. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. No substitution for a prize by the prize winner will be allowed. Prize must be accepted as awarded. If necessary, due to unavailability of a prize or parts thereof for any reason, a prize of comparable value will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

All Federal, state and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to complete state and federal tax reporting information as a condition of prize receipt. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use the winner's name, likeness, biography, statements, submitted Star Trek question and any other similar materials for marketing, promotional and publicity purposes without additional compensation or any limitation in perpetuity.

PRIZES: GRAND PRIZE (one [1] will be awarded): The Grand Prize shall
consist of a DVD collection which will include all 5 TV series, [(1)
Original Series, (1) Star Trek: The Next Generation, (1) Star Trek: Deep
Space Nine, (1) Star Trek: Voyager, (1) Star Trek: Enterprise] plus (1)
Star Trek: The Animated Series and all 10 major motion pictures
released to-date, [(1) Star Trek: The Motion Picture, (1) Star Trek II:
The Wrath of Khan, (1) Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, (1) Star
Trek IV: The Voyage Home, (1) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, (1) Star
Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, (1) Star Trek: Generations, (1) Star
Trek: First Contact, (1) Star Trek: Insurrection, (1) Star Trek:
Nemesis] one (1) copy of the official Scene It? Star Trek DVD Game and
one (1) copy of SkyForce RC Enterprise plus the possibility (subject to
the sole discretion of the Sponsor) that the Grand Prize winner's Star
Trek trivia question submitted at time of Online or Mail Entry will be
included in the Star Trek Scene It? DVD Game with call out of submission
(I.e. This question submitted by John Doe of New York, NY). The total
ARV of the Grand Prize is $1,900.

FIRST PRIZE (fifteen [15] will be awarded): Each First Prize consists of one (1) official Star Trek SceneIt? DVD Game and one (1) copy of SkyForce RC Enterprise and the possibility (subject to the sole discretion of the Sponsor) that the First Prize winner's Star Trek trivia question submitted at time of Online or Mail Entry will be included in the Star Trek SceneIt? DVD Game with call out of submission (i.e. This question submitted by John Doe of New York, NY). The ARV of each First Prize is $78. The total ARV of the 15 First Prizes is $1170.

The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is $3,070.

Prizes are non-transferable, assignable and have no cash value. No prize substitution or cash redemption allowed by a winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes may not be sold, bartered or exchanged by winners. Prizes are provided "as is" and without any warranty of any kind. There is no guarantee that a prizewinner.s submitted Star Trek trivia question will be included on the final version of the Star Trek SceneIt? DVD Game release. By accepting a prize, the prize winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules.

The odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible entries received and are equal regardless of method of entry. All prizes will be mailed to the winners in April 2009 coinciding with the release date of the Star Trek SceneIt? DVD Game.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY: Releasees shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Releasees. sole control.

GENERAL: By entering this Sweepstakes, participants agree that Releasees shall not be liable for personal injuries, death, damages, expenses or costs or losses of any kind resulting from participation or inability to participate in this Sweepstakes or acceptance of or use or inability to use a prize or parts thereof including, without limitation, claims, suits, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Each winner releases the Releasees from any and all liability and responsibility with respect to a prize (including any property loss, damage, personal injury or death). Each winner acknowledges the aforementioned individuals and entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, related to the prize.

If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion(s) thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by participants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsor will conduct a series of random drawings to award the applicable prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site. ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If a dispute arises about who submitted an Online Entry on the Entry Site, the Online Entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.

NOTE: Online Entry must be made by the participant, only at the Entry Site. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other web site or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. The use of any device or computer software to automate the entry process is prohibited.
